A Bunch of Self Serving Crap
I am Matthew Finlayson, a 24 year old Software Engineer at IBM, Poughkeepsie. I’ve worked in Poughkeepsie since January 2004 on eserver system test … it’s a job. Currently I try to get out some, drinking, mountian biking, hiking and the like. I also plan on picking up some winter sports since my parents recently moved to Vermont giving me a decent jumping off point.
I went to college in tropical Potsdam, NY about 20 minutes from the Canadian border. I majored in Computer Science at Clarkson University and graduated in 2002. I stayed on at Clarkson to continue on with my Masters in Computer Science (gotta remember to finish that thesis thing up…).
While at Clarkson I did a lot of stuff, a few of my favorites were serving on the Clarkson Integrator (school paper) in a bunch of roles, notably Editor in Chief. Also I was an active memeber of Zeta Nu Fraternity and served as President as well. I mostly enjoyed being a college student and doing as little as possible.
